Stromsgodset is a Norwegian football club based in Drammen, Norway. Founded in 1907, the club has a rich history and has established itself as one of the most successful clubs in Norwegian football. Stromsgodset has won the Norwegian top-flight league, known as the Eliteserien, on two occasions, in 1970 and 2013. The club has also won the Norwegian Cup five times, with their most recent triumph coming in 2010. Stromsgodset's home venue is Marienlyst Stadion, a historic stadium with a capacity of around 8,935 spectators. The club is affectionately known as "Godset" by its fans, a nickname derived from the club's full name. Stromsgodset has a strong youth development system and has produced several talented players who have gone on to represent the Norwegian national team.
