Al-Sadd is a professional soccer club based in Doha, Qatar. Established in 1969, the club has a rich history and is one of the most successful clubs in Qatari football. Al-Sadd plays its home matches at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium, also known as the Al-Sadd Stadium. The club has earned the nickname "The Wolves" due to their fierce and determined style of play. Al-Sadd has achieved numerous major accomplishments, including winning the Qatar Stars League title a record 14 times. They have also won the Emir of Qatar Cup 16 times and the Qatar Crown Prince Cup 14 times. Al-Sadd's success has also extended to the continental stage, with the club winning the AFC Champions League twice, in 1989 and 2011.
