C.S.D. Comunicaciones is a professional soccer club based in Guatemala City, Guatemala. The club was founded in 1949 and has since become one of the most successful teams in Guatemalan football history. Comunicaciones has won a record 30 league titles, establishing themselves as the most successful club in the country. The club's home venue is the Estadio Cementos Progreso, which has a seating capacity of around 17,000 spectators. Comunicaciones is commonly known as "Los Cremas," which translates to "The Creams" in English. The nickname is derived from the club's traditional white and blue striped kit, resembling a cream-colored pattern. Comunicaciones has also achieved success on the international stage, reaching the final of the CONCACAF Champions' Cup (now known as the CONCACAF Champions League) on four occasions. They were runners-up in 1971, 1978, 2009, and 2010. This demonstrates the club's ability to compete at a high level against teams from across North and Central America.
