Club Aurora is a Bolivian football club based in Cochabamba. Founded in 1935, the club has a rich history in Bolivian football. They have competed in the top tier of Bolivian football for many years, with occasional spells in the second division. Aurora's major accomplishments include winning the Bolivian Primera División in 1963 and finishing as runners-up in 1964. They have also had success in the Copa Simón Bolívar, the second-tier competition in Bolivia, winning it in 1991 and 2008. The club's home venue is the Estadio Félix Capriles, a stadium with a capacity of around 32,000 spectators. Aurora is known by its nickname "El Equipo del Pueblo" (The People's Team), reflecting its strong connection with the local community. An interesting fact about Club Aurora is that they were the first Bolivian club to participate in the Copa Libertadores, South America's premier club competition, in 1964.
