Danubio FC, based in Montevideo, Uruguay, is a historic soccer club with a rich history and notable accomplishments. Founded in 1932, the club has established itself as one of the most successful in Uruguayan football. Danubio FC plays its home matches at the Jardines del Hipódromo stadium. The club's nickname, "La Franja" (The Stripe), is derived from their distinctive striped kit. Over the years, Danubio FC has achieved significant success, winning the Uruguayan Primera División on four occasions, in 1988, 2004, 2007, and 2014. They have also had success in international competitions, winning the Copa Libertadores Sub-20 in 2012 and reaching the semifinals of the Copa Libertadores in 1989.
