Deportes Tolima is a professional soccer club based in Ibagué, Colombia. Founded in 1954, the club has a rich history in Colombian football. They play their home matches at the Manuel Murillo Toro Stadium, which has a capacity of around 30,000 spectators. Deportes Tolima has had several notable accomplishments throughout its history. They have won the Colombian top-flight league, known as the Categoría Primera A, on two occasions, in 2003 and 2018. The club has also been runners-up in the league on three occasions. The club is commonly referred to as "El Vinotinto y Oro," which translates to "The Wine and Gold." This nickname is derived from the team's traditional colors of burgundy and gold.
