SpVgg Greuther Fürth is a German football club based in Fürth, Bavaria. Founded in 1903, it is one of the oldest football clubs in Germany. The club has a rich history, having spent several seasons in the top tier of German football. Their home venue is the Sportpark Ronhof Thomas Sommer, which has a capacity of around 18,000 spectators. Greuther Fürth's major accomplishments include winning the German championship in 1914 and 1926. They were also runners-up in the DFB-Pokal (German Cup) in 2012. The club has a nickname, "Kleeblatt" (Cloverleaf), which is derived from their green and white team colors. An interesting fact about Greuther Fürth is that they were one of the founding members of the Bundesliga, the top professional league in Germany, in 1963. Although they have not been able to establish themselves as a consistent top-flight team in recent years, their long history and passionate fan base make them a respected club in German football.
