Hapoel Kiryat Shmona is an Israeli football club based in the town of Kiryat Shmona. Founded in 2000, the club quickly rose through the ranks of Israeli football and made their debut in the top division in the 2007-2008 season. Despite being a relatively young club, Hapoel Kiryat Shmona has achieved notable success in its short history. They won their first Israeli Premier League title in the 2011-2012 season, finishing 16 points clear of second place. This remarkable achievement was followed by a strong performance in the UEFA Europa League, where they reached the Round of 32 in the 2012-2013 season. The club's home venue is the Kiryat Shmona Municipal Stadium, which has a capacity of around 5,300 spectators. Hapoel Kiryat Shmona is commonly known as "The Red Devils" due to their red home kit and their fierce determination on the pitch.
