KuPs, also known as Kuopion Palloseura, is a Finnish football club based in Kuopio. Founded in 1923, the club has a rich history in Finnish football. KuPs has achieved notable success in domestic competitions, winning the Finnish Cup four times, in 1969, 1989, 2011, and 2012. They have also been runners-up in the Veikkausliiga, the top tier of Finnish football, on multiple occasions. The club's home venue is the Savon Sanomat Areena, which has a seating capacity of around 5,000 spectators. KuPs is affectionately known as "KuPS" or "Kuopion Palloseura" by their fans. The club has a strong fan base and is known for its passionate support.
