Pakhtakor, based in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, is one of the most successful clubs in Central Asia. Founded in 1956, the club has a rich history and has consistently been a dominant force in Uzbek football. Pakhtakor's home venue is the Pakhtakor Stadium, which has a seating capacity of over 35,000. The club is affectionately known as "The Lions" due to their fierce and fearless style of play. Over the years, Pakhtakor has achieved numerous accomplishments, including winning the Uzbekistan Super League title on multiple occasions. They have also had success in continental competitions, reaching the AFC Champions League semi-finals in 2003. Pakhtakor's strong youth development system has produced several talented players who have gone on to represent the national team.
