SC Paderborn 07 is a German football club based in Paderborn, North Rhine-Westphalia. Founded in 1907, the club has had a relatively modest history, spending the majority of their existence in lower divisions. However, they experienced a remarkable rise in recent years. After several promotions, they reached the Bundesliga, Germany's top tier, for the first time in their history in the 2014-2015 season. Unfortunately, their stay in the Bundesliga was short-lived, as they were relegated back to the second division the following season. The club's home venue is the Benteler-Arena, which has a capacity of around 15,000 spectators.
