Sint-Truidense, commonly known as STVV, is a Belgian football club based in Sint-Truiden. Founded in 1924, the club has a rich history in Belgian football. They have primarily competed in the top two tiers of Belgian football, with occasional spells in the lower divisions. STVV's major accomplishments include winning the Belgian Second Division on three occasions, in 1965, 2009, and 2015. They have also had success in domestic cup competitions, reaching the final of the Belgian Cup in 1970 and 2003. The club plays its home matches at the Stayen Stadium, which has a capacity of around 14,600 spectators. Sint-Truidense is often referred to as the "Canaries" due to their yellow and black home kit, resembling the colors of a canary bird. An interesting fact about the club is that they have a strong youth academy, which has produced several talented players who have gone on to play for top Belgian clubs and even represent the national team.
