SM Sanga Balende is a Congolese football club based in Mbuji-Mayi, Democratic Republic of the Congo. The club was founded in 1974 and has since become one of the most successful clubs in Congolese football. Sanga Balende has won the Linafoot, the top tier of Congolese football, on multiple occasions, including in 2009 and 2013. The club has also had success in continental competitions, reaching the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup in 2014. Sanga Balende's home venue is the Stade Kashala Bonzola, a stadium with a capacity of 30,000 spectators. The club is nicknamed "Les Sang et Or" (The Blood and Gold) due to their traditional red and gold team colors.
