The New Saints Football Club, commonly known as TNS, is a professional soccer club based in Oswestry, Shropshire, England. The club was founded in 1959 as Llansantffraid FC and later merged with Oswestry Town FC in 2003 to form The New Saints. The club's home venue is Park Hall Stadium, which has a capacity of 2,000 spectators. TNS has been a dominant force in Welsh football, winning the Welsh Premier League a record-breaking 13 times consecutively from 2005 to 2019. They have also won the Welsh Cup on six occasions and the Welsh League Cup nine times. The club's nickname, "The Saints," is derived from the village of Llansantffraid, where the club was originally based.
