Union Saint-Gilloise is a Belgian football club based in the municipality of Saint-Gilles, Brussels. Founded in 1897, it is one of the oldest clubs in Belgium. The team plays its home matches at the Stade Joseph Marien, which has a capacity of around 8,000 spectators. Union Saint-Gilloise has a rich history and has enjoyed success in the past. The club has won the Belgian First Division title on 11 occasions, with the most recent triumph coming in the 1932-1933 season. They have also won the Belgian Cup twice, in 1913 and 1914. The club is affectionately known as "Les Unionistes" due to its strong connection with the working-class community in Saint-Gilles.
