Wadi Degla SC is an Egyptian football club based in Cairo. Founded in 2002, the club has quickly risen through the ranks of Egyptian football. They currently compete in the Egyptian Premier League, the top tier of Egyptian football. Wadi Degla SC's home venue is the 30 June Stadium, located in Cairo. The club is known by the nickname "The Orange Castle," which is a reference to their orange-colored home kit and their strong defensive play. Wadi Degla SC has had some notable accomplishments in their relatively short history, including reaching the final of the Egypt Cup in 2014 and finishing as runners-up in the Egyptian Premier League in the 2015-2016 season.
