Zira FK is a professional soccer club based in Zira, Azerbaijan. Founded in 2014, the club has quickly risen through the ranks of Azerbaijani football. They currently compete in the Azerbaijan Premier League, the top tier of football in the country. Zira FK's home venue is the Zira Olympic Sport Complex, a modern stadium with a capacity of around 5,000 spectators. The club is nicknamed "The Wasps" due to the yellow and black colors of their kit, which resemble the appearance of a wasp. Despite being a relatively young club, Zira FK has already achieved some notable accomplishments, including reaching the final of the Azerbaijan Cup in the 2016-2017 season.
