Founded in 1927, the club has been a dominant force in Ukrainian football, winning the Soviet Top League 13 times and the Ukrainian Premier League 15 times. Their home venue is the NSC Olimpiyskiy Stadium in Kyiv, which has a seating capacity of over 70,000 spectators. The club is often referred to as "The White-Blues" due to their traditional white and blue team colors. Dynamo Kyiv has also achieved success on the European stage, reaching the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League twice, in 1977 and 1987.
