FC Rapid 1923 is a historic soccer club based in Bucharest, Romania. Founded in 1923, the club has a rich history and is one of the most successful teams in Romanian football. Their home venue is the Giulesti-Valentin Stanescu Stadium, also known as "Giulesti," which has a capacity of around 19,100 spectators. Rapid Bucharest has won the Romanian Liga I championship three times, in 1967-68, 1998-99, and 2002-03.
