Fotbal Club FCSB, formerly known as Steaua București, is a Romanian football club based in Bucharest. Established in 1947, the club has a rich history and is one of the most successful in Romanian football. FCSB has won the Romanian Liga I a record 26 times, with their most recent triumph coming in the 2014-2015 season. They have also lifted the Romanian Cup on 22 occasions and have been crowned champions of Europe in 1986, when they won the European Cup. The club's home venue is the Stadionul Ghencea, which has a capacity of around 27,000 spectators. FCSB is commonly referred to as "the Red and Blues" due to their traditional red and blue colors.
