MC Oran, also known as Mouloudia Club Oranais, is a professional soccer club based in Oran, Algeria. Founded in 1946, the club has a rich history and is one of the most successful clubs in Algerian football. MC Oran has won the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1 on six occasions, with their most recent triumph coming in the 1992-1993 season. The club's home venue is the Stade Ahmed Zabana, which has a seating capacity of around 40,000 spectators. MC Oran is affectionately known as "El Hamri" due to the club's close association with the El Hamri neighborhood in Oran. The club has a passionate fan base and enjoys a fierce rivalry with fellow Oran-based club, ASM Oran.
