Pohang Steelers, a South Korean football club, has a rich history and numerous accomplishments. Established in 1973, the club is based in Pohang, a city known for its steel industry. Pohang Steelers have also clinched the AFC Champions League title on three occasions, in 1997, 1998, and 2009.
