CS Universitatea Craiova is a Romanian football club based in Craiova. Founded in 1948, the club has a rich history and is one of the most successful teams in Romanian football. They have won the Romanian league title four times, with their most recent triumph coming in the 1990-1991 season. Universitatea Craiova has also won the Romanian Cup on six occasions, the last of which was in the 1992-1993 season.
